Gabriela has a heart of a Latina, a mind of a Canadian, and a spirit that belongs to the world. After spending a number of years moving around the globe, she decides to come back “home” to Toronto. The year 2013 gave her a chance to re-group and re-launch her life. Her heart has always known that her purpose in life is to help others whether it’s at a community or individual level. She’s made it a mission to find ways to transform the human body from deprivation to abundance. Her passion is food: to get in the kitchen and experiment with new ingredients to make them delicious, nourishing and extract their power to heal.

Session 1: Sweet and Savoury in the Morning – Saturday – 6:30-8:00am
If you want to take a plant-based breakfast to the next level or simply learn to cook to impress, join me in making three-style pancakes to satisfy the sweet tooth, the savory taste or the ones in between. Plant-based foods are about playing with ingredients and flavors but never jeopardizing its nutritious content.
Session 2: Building a Salad Bowl that Wows! – Saturday – 11:30-1:00pm
Want to learn fun, quick, delicious ideas for a veggie feast? Bowl with me! You will never, ever look at a salad the same way again. You might think that adopting a plant-based diet would result in a very limited and flavourless daily menu, but with some creativity and a fuller understanding of all the options out there, it’s easy to have a varied and delicious meal EVERYDAY!
Session 3: Making the Perfect Veggie Burger – Saturday – 4:30-6:00pm
Join me in making a vegetarian version of people’s favourite food…a burger!! High in protein and nutrients, with delicious flavours and spices to be devoured alone, in a bun or a wrap. Learn the secrets and tips to making the perfect patty and be amazed how easy it is to create beautiful colours, smells and tastes on a dinner plate.
